I located the crank pulley and the water pump pulleys that I needed to get the power steering lined up, and that job is done. I got the windshield replaced, and picked up a set of front and rear springs from a junkyard. The guy had lowered the truck and heated the front coils (don't ask me why people think that works) and I guess he removed some leaves from the rear. I want it stock height and with either 275/60s all the way around of some off road style tires on it because I like driving trails. I have only replaced the rear springs so far, as you can see, we reused the top spring because he new ones didn't fit in the mount, Kelly and I just bolted the lower leaves onto the mounting leaf which worked fine. I then got my flex pipe removed and had a real exhaust pipe welded in and the guy did a real good job of keeping it off to the side and out of the way! That called for some photos and soon after I decided to do some painting. I painted the rear axle and painted the front grille and that really gave the truck a great look. Note the location of the parking lights mounted behind the grille too!
