| My new inline 6 never idled right and then developed a knock, and a compression test revealed a problem with the #2 cylinder. I toyed with it for a couple weeks and on a whim put a want ad out on Craig's list and the next day I got an email from a guy ironically just down the street from when I got my first 6 cylinder, but this guy was not a junkyard. He says he just pulled it to put a 350 in. I grilled him pretty hard about the engine because I didn't want to get shafted again, and I talked him down to $250 for the 250 and I figured it was worth taking a chaance on since I couldn't afford a rebuilt long block. Well, third time's a charm I guess because this engine runs perfect, no smoke and no problems! |
