Welcome to my Monte Carlo site, there are hundreds upon hundreds of photos here as well as the link to my club above. Hot Rod enthusiasts cry about the 73-77 Monte Carlo being too heavy or suffering from low compression, smog equipped engines from the factory, but the truth is that the Monte Carlo was one of the most popular cars ever run on the NASCAR circut in it's time due to it's excellent handling. not to mention Motor Trend's Car of the Year for 1973. My 74 Monte Carlo doesn't have any smog equipment installed, has plenty of power for me, and gets better gas milage than many brand new SUVs. I can't drive it anywhere without getting looks and offers, I've never wanted to "fit in" and the Monte Carlo is a very unique car which suits me and many others just fine.
